Rolls-Royce offers two graduate schemes. In the Engineering Leadership scheme graduates rotate through a number of diverse placements, with varied technical and commercial roles. Technical ability is assessed, but so is business acumen and leadership potential. By contrast, the Engineering Professional Excellence scheme prepares graduates for a highly specialised technical role.
Integrated into both schemes is the option to take part in our Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS), as David Askew’s experience illustrates. David joined Rolls-Royce in 2007 on the Engineering Professional Excellence scheme. He decided to join the MPDS at the end of his first year.
